Set up Rabbitry Run so a brand-new user can log in, understand the layout, enter the first useful records, and know exactly what to do next.

Set up your rabbitry identity
This gives your app, exports, and public-facing pages the correct name and contact information.
Open Profile from the sidebar. On mobile, tap the menu button first, then tap Profile.
- You should see the Rabbitry Profile page with your rabbitry information fields.
Fill in your rabbitry name, breeder name, and any contact details you want tied to your account or exports.
- Type the exact rabbitry name you want buyers or other breeders to recognize.
- Add a contact email or phone number if you want those available later in exports or storefront tools.
- Do not leave placeholder text in the fields you plan to share publicly later.
Save the profile information using the page controls if prompted.
- You should still be on the profile page with your entered values visible instead of blank fields.
- Your rabbitry now has a recognizable identity inside the app.
Set the defaults that affect daily use
These settings change how weights, reminders, and milestone dates behave throughout the app.
Open Settings from the sidebar or mobile menu.
- You should see the Settings page with app preferences and support tools.
Set your preferred weight unit, weaning age, and reminder or notification preferences.
- Pick the unit you actually use in real life so you do not have to mentally convert later.
- If you are unsure about notification settings, leave feature help turned on and choose reasonable defaults you can change later.
- If reminder timing looks wrong later, come back here first before assuming tasks are broken.
Keep feature help hints enabled unless you already know the app well.
- Help icons should remain available across the app after you leave Settings.
- The app defaults now match your real workflow closely enough to start entering records.
Enter the first rabbits that matter
Start with the animals you actually use now, not every historical rabbit you have ever owned.
Open Rabbits from the sidebar or mobile menu.
- You should see the herd list page and the control used to add a rabbit.
Create records for your active breeding stock first, especially does, bucks, and any rabbits you reference often.
- Use the rabbit's real name or tattoo so you can recognize it later.
- Choose the correct status, such as Active, Grow-out, or For Sale.
- Wrong status is a common reason a rabbit later disappears from selectors.
Once you have a small working herd entered, stop and continue deeper setup later.
- You do not need to enter every ancestor or sold rabbit before the app becomes useful.
- You now have enough real rabbit data to make the rest of the app feel populated and useful.
You're Done When
