Record a simple dated health or care note for one rabbit or several rabbits without creating a case, schedule, reminder, active-health status, or inventory transaction.
About 16 minutes
Desktop: Open Rabbits, open More herd tools, then choose Mass Health. For one rabbit, open its profile and choose Health.
Mobile: Open Rabbits, expand More herd tools, then choose Mass Health. For one rabbit, open its profile and choose Health.
- Add the rabbit records first. A quick health log must have at least one rabbit subject.
Overview
- Quick Log is the lightweight health-history path. It writes directly to each selected rabbit’s unified timeline and stays independent from Health Center cases and scheduled work.
- Open Health Center is the in-depth path for observations, cases, treatment schedules, doses, preventative plans, reminders, inventory use, quarantine, and active-health status.
When To Use
- You want to record “I gave this medication or supplement” and no follow-up workflow is needed.
- You noticed something worth preserving on the rabbit timeline but do not need a case or schedule.
- You need to add the same simple entry to several rabbits at once.
Step-By-Step Guide
Step 1
Follow this action exactly in the Add Quick Health Logs Without Starting A Health Center Case workflow.
For several rabbits, open Rabbits → More herd tools → Mass Health, select the rabbits, and choose the Health & care category.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 2
Choose Quick Log. The Quick Health Log form opens with the selected rabbits and category preserved; it should not simply close the Mass Health workflow.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 3
For one rabbit, open its profile → Health, choose the category, then choose Quick Log.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 4
Confirm the date and optionally enter an event label, notes, medication or supplement information, and a withdrawal period. These descriptive fields can stay blank.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 5
Choose Save Quick Log. A multi-rabbit save is atomic: every selected rabbit receives its own timeline entry, or none are partially saved.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 6
Reopen each rabbit’s Health timeline to confirm the entry. Quick logs do not create Health Center cases, treatments, doses, reminders, inventory usage, or active-health status changes.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 7
To correct or remove a quick entry, open the rabbit profile → Health, find it in Unified Health Timeline, then choose Edit or Delete. Confirm Delete Quick Log to remove only that timeline entry.
- The page should remain in the same workflow and be ready for the next step.
- You should be ready to continue to the next step.
Step 8
Choose Open Health Center instead when you need an observation, ongoing case, scheduled treatment, preventative plan, dose history, reminder, or inventory tracking.
- Each selected rabbit shows the dated quick entry in its unified health timeline, with no new Health Center case or scheduled work.
- Each selected rabbit shows the dated quick entry in its unified health timeline, with no new Health Center case or scheduled work.
You're Done When
- Each selected rabbit shows the dated quick entry in its unified health timeline, with no new Health Center case or scheduled work.
Common Mistakes
- Choosing Open Health Center when you only want a simple historical note.
- Expecting a Quick Log medication note to create a reusable medication library item or deduct inventory.
- Expecting a blank optional description to prevent saving. Only the rabbit subject is required.
If Something Still Looks Wrong
Why did the Quick Log form not open?
Keep Mass Health open long enough for the Quick Health Log form to replace it. If the workflow disappears after selecting rabbits and choosing Quick Log, refresh the app and contact support with the selected category and device.
Why is there no treatment schedule?
Quick logs intentionally do not create schedules. Use Open Health Center and start a treatment when you need planned doses or reminders.
FAQ
Can I leave the notes and medication fields blank?
Yes. The date and selected rabbit subjects are enough for a quick entry; the other details are optional.
Does Quick Log change active health status?
No. It adds timeline history only.
