Overview

  • The Subscription page shows your current plan status inside Rabbitry Run, but the management path can differ depending on how the subscription was started.

When To Use

  • You are checking trial status, starting a paid plan, opening billing management, or figuring out why the current status looks confusing.

Step-By-Step Guide

1

Read the current status first

The page already tells you a lot before you click any billing button.

1.1 Open your account menu, then Subscription

Use your account menu in the lower-left area of the sidebar or the mobile account menu, then click Subscription.

What You Should See
  • You should see the Subscription page with the Current Plan card and status details.
1.2 Check the labels on the plan card

Read the current plan, the Plan Status label, and the billing date label before taking action.

What You Should See
  • You may see status labels such as Grace Access Active, Trial Active, Active, or Account Inactive.
  • You may also see billing labels such as Grace Access Ends, Trial Ends, Expires On, or Next Billing Date.
You Should Now Have
  • You understand the account state before opening any billing flow.
2

Use the correct main button for your situation

The button text and the path behind it change depending on the account state.

2.1 Use Upgrade to Pro Now when you are not on Pro

If the page shows Upgrade to Pro Now, use that when you want to move from Free or Trial into Pro.

What You Should See
  • You should see the upgrade or pricing flow rather than the billing-management portal.
2.2 Use Start Live Subscription when grace access needs to become a live plan

If the button says Start Live Subscription, use it to begin the live paid subscription flow.

What You Should See
  • You should be taken into the live subscription start flow.
2.3 Use Manage Subscription & Billing for an existing managed subscription

If the button says Manage Subscription & Billing, use that for billing details, cancellation, or plan management on an already managed subscription.

Watch For This
  • The destination behind this button depends on the subscription source.
You Should Now Have
  • You know which button belongs to upgrade, live-start, or management work.
3

Expect different management surfaces based on subscription source

Rabbitry Run supports more than one billing-management path.

3.1 Use Stripe portal for Stripe-managed subscriptions

If your subscription is managed through Stripe, the app opens the Stripe customer portal for billing management.

What You Should See
  • You should be taken to the Stripe billing management experience.
3.2 Use native subscription management for native subscriptions

If your subscription came through a native platform path, Rabbitry Run uses the native subscription-management flow for that device.

What You Should See
  • You should be taken to the platform-specific subscription management surface instead of the Stripe portal.
If You Don't See This
  • If native management does not open correctly, return to the Subscription page and gather the exact status and button text before contacting support.
3.3 Allow a short sync after returning

After finishing billing changes, give the app a moment to sync before deciding whether the status is wrong.

Watch For This
  • Refreshing immediately and repeatedly can make a normal post-billing sync feel more confusing than it is.
You Should Now Have
  • You understand why billing management may open different surfaces on different accounts or devices.

You're Done When

  • You can identify your current plan state from the labels on the page.
  • You know the difference between Upgrade to Pro Now, Start Live Subscription, and Manage Subscription & Billing.
  • You understand that Stripe-managed and native subscriptions can open different management surfaces.

Common Mistakes

  • Assuming every subscription always opens the same billing surface.
  • Treating a short sync delay after checkout or billing changes as permanent failure.
  • Confusing the status label with the billing button behavior before the page finishes loading.

If Something Still Looks Wrong

Why does billing or trial status look confusing?

Give the return flow a moment to sync, then refresh the subscription screen. If it still looks wrong, use the support flow with the exact plan and timing details you saw.

FAQ

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Subscription and use Manage Subscription & Billing to reach the correct billing surface for your account, whether that is Stripe billing management or a native subscription-management path.

Does the trial require a card up front?

The current live web trial flow does not require a card up front before the trial begins.

When To Contact Support

  • The status still looks wrong after giving the page time to sync and refreshing once.
  • The billing-management button opens the wrong type of billing surface or fails repeatedly.

Still Stuck?

If the guide got you close but the app still does not match what this tutorial says should happen, contact support and mention the article title, the exact step where you got stuck, and what you saw instead.
