Set Up The Public Storefront And Keep Listings Visible
Configure your public-facing gallery, publish sale rabbits intentionally, and make sure buyers can actually contact you.
Set up the public storefront so buyers only see the rabbits and contact details you intentionally want them to see.
10-15 minutes for first setup
Desktop: Open Storefront from the left sidebar.
Mobile: Tap the menu button, then tap Storefront.
- Have at least one sale rabbit ready if you want to test a live listing.
- Know which email, phone number, or social link you want buyers to use.
Overview
- The storefront is your controlled public window into the rabbitry, not a mirror of every private record in the app.
When To Use
- You want to share rabbits publicly without exposing private notes or the rest of your operational records.
Step-By-Step Guide
Open the public storefront settings
Start in Storefront so you are editing the public-facing setup rather than the private rabbit list.
Open Storefront from the sidebar or mobile menu.
- You should see the Storefront page with public gallery or listing configuration controls.
- You are in the correct place to control the public gallery.
Set the public identity and contact details
These details tell buyers who you are and how to reach you.
Enter or confirm the storefront title, description, logo, and contact details you want buyers to see.
- Do not assume your private account details will automatically become the exact public contact details you want displayed.
Save the public-facing settings before moving on to listings.
- The saved storefront details should remain visible after the page refreshes or re-renders.
- Your public gallery now has the core identity and contact details it needs.
Check that a rabbit is truly ready to list
A rabbit being in the app does not automatically mean it is ready for the public storefront.
Open Rabbits and move the rabbit into the For Sale section before you expect it to appear in the storefront.
- Use the For Sale section for any rabbit you expect to show in storefront workflows.
- Moving the rabbit to For Sale applies the For Sale status automatically.
- A rabbit will not appear in the storefront just because it exists in Rabbits. The rabbit must be in the For Sale section first.
Confirm the listing title, description, photo, and any public visibility settings are filled out the way you want buyers to see them.
- Use the best sale photo and a listing title that buyers will understand quickly.
Make sure the rabbit is actually marked or configured to appear publicly after it is in the For Sale section.
- If a listing never appears, re-check that the rabbit is in For Sale first, then the listing visibility settings.
View the storefront as a buyer would, especially on mobile, before sending the link to anyone.
- You should see the listing card, branding, and public contact methods the way a buyer would.
- The public storefront should now show only the rabbits and contact paths you intended to share.
You're Done When
- Your storefront branding and contact details stay saved.
- At least one intended listing is visible in the public view.
- The public page looks reasonable on mobile as well as desktop.
Common Mistakes
- Assuming a rabbit becomes public just because it exists in the app.
- Forgetting to add public contact details and then wondering why buyers cannot easily reach you.
If Something Still Looks Wrong
Why is a public listing not visible?
Confirm the rabbit is marked appropriately for sale, has public listing settings filled out, and that your storefront itself is configured with the current public profile data.
FAQ
Does the storefront expose my private rabbit notes or private files?
No. Public listings use curated public-facing data rather than the full private rabbit record.
How do I list a rabbit for sale?
Open Storefront, complete the rabbit's public listing fields, confirm the rabbit is marked for public visibility, and preview the storefront before sharing the link.
When To Contact Support
- You have saved the storefront and listing settings, but intended rabbits still never appear publicly.
Still Stuck?
If the guide got you close but the app still does not match what this tutorial says should happen, contact support and mention the article title, the exact step where you got stuck, and what you saw instead.
